What This Means
Washing heater short-circuited or wire disconnected; Washing heater contact error; Temperature sensor fault; Water level sensor operating without water (frozen or other reason); PBA relay malfunction (if heater has no error)
What actually causes this:
The heating element burned out or a wire came loose from the heater
First Thing to Check
If clothes are not getting warm during hot cycles, the heater has likely failed

How to Fix

1. Check for connection between wire and heater

2. Measure heater resistance between A and B — should be 16.05 plus or minus 0.65 ohm (front view)

3. If wash heater is faulty, replace it

4. If heater tests normal, check the wash-thermistor at back of tub
- 5
5. If heater has no error, check for PBA relay malfunction
