What This Means

What actually causes this:
Small items like coins, hair pins, or lint have clogged the drain pump filter at the bottom front of the washer
First Thing to Check
Open the small access panel at the bottom front of the washer and clean the drain pump filter — have towels ready for water

1. Check whether drain pump revolutions are restrained due to foreign material in the drain pump

2. Check the drain pump resistance — Drain pump resistance: 13.5 to 16.5 ohms; Bubble pump resistance: 18.75 to 22.75 ohms

3. Check the wire connections and terminal contacts on Main PCB and Drain Pump assembly

4. If the connector or wire of the drain pump assembly has poor physical connection, check and repair

5. If freezing in winter season, remove freezing as directed
- 6
6. Remove foreign material from drain pump filter and impeller area
- 7
7. If drain pump is faulty, replace drain pump. If Main PCB is faulty, replace Main PCB
