E2 error main relay check before PBA replacement
The E2 error can also be caused by incorrect main relay connections, which triggers the error after approximately 30 seconds. Always check the main relay connections before replacing the main PBA. If there is no error in the connections, then replace the main PBA.
Sub PBA screw over-tightening causes E2 switch error
A very common cause of the E2 switch error is over-tightened screws that hold the sub PBA to the control panel. When screws are too tight, they press the buttons against their corresponding tact switches continuously. There must be a small gap between the control panel and the button. Simply loosening the screws slightly can resolve the error without any part replacement.
Cover Top removal wire harness protection
When flipping the Cover Top upside down to access the Door Lock Switch, always secure the loose Wire Harness first to prevent damage to wires and connectors. Failing to do this is a common cause of secondary damage during door lock repairs.
Extension cords cause voltage errors
Using a plug receptacle (extension cord or power strip) instead of a direct wall outlet commonly causes 9C1/9C2 voltage errors. A 1-meter connecting wire can cause momentary voltage drops of up to 10V. Always recommend plugging directly into a dedicated wall outlet.
