Steam generator thermistor open or shorted

How to Fix

1. 1

   Enter diagnostic test mode by pressing POWER while pressing MORE TIME and LESS TIME simultaneously.

   Advance through test steps with START/PAUSE until tE4 is triggered.

   Turn power off and discharge voltage.

   Measure resistance between heater terminals 1 and 2 on the steam generator assembly.

5. 5

   Expected resistance: 14.3Ω ±5%.

   If resistance is out of spec: replace the steam generator assembly.

7. 7

   If resistance is within spec: check wiring harness between generator and PCB.

8. 8

   Replace steam generator assembly if thermistor within it tests faulty.
