What This Means
Clogged lint screen restricting airflow and causing abnormal temperature readings; Restricted vent system causing heat buildup; Thermistor 1 resistance out of range (open or shorted); Faulty wiring between thermistor and main PCB
What actually causes this:
Usually a clogged lint screen or blocked exhaust vent — restricted airflow causes the sensor to misread temperatures.
First Thing to Check
Pull out the lint screen and clean off all the lint, then check that your exhaust vent hose isn't kinked or blocked.

1. Check and clean the lint screen

2. Check if the vent system is restricted

3. Disconnect harness and test Blue wire Pin 3 to Red wire Pin 6 for cycling thermistor
- 4
4. Measure thermistor resistance: should be approximately 10KΩ at 25°C (77°F)

5. If thermistor resistance is out of range, replace the thermistor
- 6
6. If information code remains, contact Samsung customer service center
