Critical

Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue

Also displayed as: 9C1

What This Means

Not using regular power source voltage (voltage out of range); Low voltage from utility; Faulty outlet or wiring; PCB and wire harness issues

What actually causes this:

The electrical outlet isn't providing the right power — could be a tripped breaker, loose plug, or wiring issue.

First Thing to Check

Check your electrical panel and make sure the dryer's breaker hasn't tripped — flip it fully off then back on.

How to Fix

  1. 1

    1. Check if power is supplied properly -- measure voltage at the outlet: should be 120V/240V (Electric) or 120V (Gas)

  2. 2

    2. Check PCB and wire harness connections

  3. 3

    3. Check for blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker

  4. 4

    4. Verify dryer is on a dedicated circuit (30-amp for electric, 15-amp for gas)

  5. 5

    5. If voltage is correct and wiring is sound, inspect voltage sense circuit on main PCB
