What This Means
Clogged lint screen restricting airflow; Restricted vent system; Thermistor 2 (vent thermistor) resistance out of range (open or shorted); Faulty wiring between vent thermistor and main PCB
What actually causes this:
Similar to the main temperature sensor error — usually caused by lint buildup restricting airflow, or the sensor itself has worn out.
First Thing to Check
Clean the lint screen thoroughly and make sure the exhaust vent path is clear.

1. Check for a clogged lint screen

2. Check if the vent system is restricted

3. Disconnect harness and measure resistance between Yellow wire Pin 2 and White wire Pin 7
- 4
4. Measure thermistor 2 resistance: should be approximately 238.23KΩ at 25°C (77°F)

5. If thermistor resistance is out of range, replace the vent thermistor
- 6
6. If information code remains, contact Samsung customer service center
