Error Code OE
Drain Error — machine does not reach normal drain level (motor RPM not increasing or drain blocked)
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Filter assembly blocked; Drain hose kinked or blocked; Inner hole of drain case blocked; Air gap clogged; Knockout plug of garbage disposal not removed; Washing motor locked or defective; Wiring connection to drain motor (YL3) disconnected; Drain motor impeller stuck; Drain pump resistance out of range (should be 4-5 ohm); Outer drain hose kinked, blocked, or frozen; Controller damaged
How to Fix
- 1
Check if drain motor operates: if Motor RPM not increasing — verify connector YL3 is connected to main PCB
- 2
Check drain pump resistance (4-5 ohm); replace drain pump if out of range
- 3
Check voltage between YL3 pin1-2-3: should be 12V AC ±15%; replace main PCB if out of range
- 4
If Motor RPM is increasing: check if filter is clogged and clean it
- 5
Check if air gap is blocked and clean it
- 6
Remove knockout plug from garbage disposal if not done
- 7
Check if outer drain hose is kinked, blocked, or frozen and remove cause
- 8
Check if inner hole of drain case is blocked; repair or replace drain motor
- 9
Repair drain motor when impeller is stuck; replace drain motor if error persists
- 10
Replace pump casing assembly if washing motor not working properly
- 11
Replace main PCB assembly if all checks pass
