Steam pump error — pump AD value below threshold during diagnostic test

How to Fix

1. 1

   Enter diagnostic test mode: press Power then immediately Temp and Time.

   Press START/PAUSE four times to reach the pump check step.

3. 3

   Observe the pump AD value on the display — value must be greater than 10 for pump to be considered normal.

4. 4

   If value is 10 or below, E5 is displayed indicating pump failure.

   Disconnect power and inspect the steam pump wiring harness for loose connectors or damaged wires.

   Check pump coil resistance — rated 24 Ω ±10% (same as inlet valve); limit current 550 mA.

7. 7

   Inspect the inlet hose connection to the pump/generator for kinks or blockage.

8. 8

   Replace the steam pump if resistance is out of range or pump does not respond.

9. 9

   After replacement, re-enter diagnostic mode and confirm AD value exceeds 10.
