Humidity sensor failure

How to Fix

1. 1

   Turn off dryer and call for service.

   In diagnostic mode, press START/PAUSE once and check moisture sensor bar display.

3. 3

   With door closed and motor tumbling, place fingers across moisture sensor bars — display should show 30–255.

4. 4

   Disconnect NA6 connector from main PCB and measure resistance between NA6-(GN) pin and chassis ground — must be less than 1Ω.

   Place a jumper between NA6-(OR) and NA6-(BL).

   Measure resistance between the two moisture sensor bars in the lint filter housing — must be less than 1Ω.

   If sensor bar resistance is greater than 1Ω: check all connections and wires between NA6 terminal and sensor bars.

   Check sensor harness connectors for corrosion, loose or bent pins, and broken wires.

9. 9

   If all wiring checks pass but issue persists: replace main PCB.
