Upper oven door lock failure

How to Fix
- 1
Plug in the unit. Note: just after self-clean starts, the door lock motor begins rotating; if the door lock switch does not operate properly after rotating twice, the F10 code appears.
- 2
Press Lower Clear/Off button for 3 seconds and try to open the door. If door opens, the door lock icon illuminates — this is normal; check the wiring.
- 3
Unplug the unit.
- 4
Check if any connector is disconnected or loose: inspect (1) electrical wiring of relay in Main PCB, (2) electrical wiring of Locking Motor and Micro Switch, (3) electrical wiring of CN60 and CN61 of Main PCB. Reconnect any loose connector and retest.
- 5
Check door lock micro switch (normally open type): With door latch open, check COM to NO — should show continuity. With door latch locked, check COM to NO — should show infinite resistance. If abnormal, replace the micro switch.
- 6
Measure resistance of door lock motor (scale: R x 1000): Normal = approximately 2.6 kΩ ±10%. Abnormal = infinite (open) or below 5 Ω (shorted). If abnormal, replace the door lock motor.
- 7
If micro switch and motor both test normal, replace the Main PCB.
