How to Fix

Follow same diagnostic procedure as F6, but apply to lower oven sensor and lower oven relay circuits.

Unplug the unit and check lower oven thermistor resistance at CN60 and CN61 of Main PCB. Normal: approximately 1.09 kΩ ±10% at 77°F (25°C).

If thermistor is shorted, replace the lower oven temperature sensor.

Check igniter relay resistance for lower oven burner circuits (Live): Normal = infinite; Abnormal = shorted. Shorted relay indicates Main PCB replacement needed.

Check DLB relay (RY60): Normal = infinite; Abnormal = shorted. Shorted = replace Main PCB.

Verify thermistor in test mode at room temperature (should read 70°F to 90°F).

If all components check normal but F16 recurs, replace the Main PCB.
