How to Fix
- 1
Press CLEAR key to cancel the current cook operation.
- 2
Disconnect power to the range.
- 3
Check looseness of the oven sensor connector — if loose, reconnect and retest.
- 4
Disconnect the oven sensor and measure resistance at room temperature. Normal is approximately 1.06 kΩ at 65°F to 1.12 kΩ at 85°F.
- 5
If resistance reads near zero (short), replace the oven sensor.
- 6
If oven sensor resistance is normal, check Power PCB connector CN04 for looseness or terminal damage; reconnect or replace bad harness.
- 7
Reconnect power and verify thermistor reading in test mode (enter via CLEAR → BAKE+BROIL → BAKE+BROIL → COOK TIME): normal 65°F to 95°F at room temp.
- 8
If sensor reading in test mode is still abnormal with a good sensor, replace the Power PCB.
- 9
If problem persists, replace the Main PCB.
