How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect power and disconnect the oven sensor.
- 2
Measure oven sensor resistance after cooling. Normal: approximately 1.06 kΩ at 65°F to 1.12 kΩ at 85°F.
- 3
If oven sensor is abnormal, replace it.
- 4
If oven sensor is normal, remove the Power relay PCB.
- 5
Check the bake relay for weld damage: measure resistance across relay contacts. Welded (failed closed) = continuity; Normal (open) = infinite resistance.
- 6
If bake relay shows continuity when it should be open, replace the Power PCB.
- 7
If bake relay is normal, check the broil relay similarly — welded = continuity, normal = infinite.
- 8
If broil relay shows continuity when open, replace the Power PCB.
- 9
If both relays check normal, replace the Main PCB.
