Error Code F-9

No Heating — Oven starting temperature does not exceed 150°F and oven temperature does not rise above starting temperature over 5 minutes during preheating with door closed.

How to Fix

1. 1

   Disconnect power to the range.

2. 2

   Check for loose connections at the bake and broil igniter harness connectors — reconnect if loose.

3. 3

   Measure resistance of the bake globar igniter (after cooling): normal is approximately 45Ω to 400Ω. If open (infinite) or shorted, replace the failed igniter.

   Measure resistance of the broil globar igniter (after cooling): same specification 45Ω to 400Ω.

   If igniters are normal, measure resistance of the bake gas valve: normal is approximately 1Ω to 1.5Ω. If abnormal, replace the failed valve.

   Measure resistance of the broil gas valve: same specification 1Ω to 1.5Ω.

   If gas valves are normal, measure oven sensor resistance: normal is 1.06 kΩ at 65°F to 1.12 kΩ at 85°F.

   If oven sensor is abnormal, replace it.

9. 9

   If all components check normal, verify gas supply is open and flowing to the range.

10. 10

    If gas supply is confirmed, replace the Main PCB.
