Error Code F9

Oven no heat — starting temperature 130F or below, oven temperature does not rise more than 10F from starting temperature within 5 minutes after cooking start (excludes Proof, Warm, Easy Clean)

What This Means

Failed bake igniter or broil igniter (out of resistance range); Failed oven safety valve (open coil); Defective oven sensor giving falsely high reading; Loose or disconnected wiring to igniter or relay

How to Fix

   Unplug the unit

   Check all connector/wiring of Relay PCB at all tabs and electric wiring of igniter circuits; reconnect any loose connections

   Measure resistance of each igniter (bake and broil) with power disconnected — normal range: Norton Igniter 45 to 400 ohms; SIC Igniter 50 to 500 ohms; if outside range, replace the failed igniter

   Plug in the unit and enter test mode to check thermistor value: press any button (encoder in Off), then press in order (+, Oven Light — hold 3 seconds), press Oven Light again (hold 3 seconds), select 't3' with + button, press START; normal thermistor reading is 70F to 90F at room temperature; if abnormal, unplug and measure thermistor resistance at CN31 pins 4 and 5 — normal approximately 1.09 kOhm at 25C; if abnormal, replace thermistor

   If igniter resistance and thermistor are good, replace the Relay PCB

   If same phenomenon occurs after replacing Relay PCB, replace the Main PCB
