Error Code F-6
Oven Hot — Oven temperature exceeds 650°F continuously for 2 minutes during cooking (excluding self-clean)
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F-6
How to Fix
- 1
Unplug the unit.
- 2
Check the DLB relay on the Relay PCB for damage: measure resistance. Normal relay (open contacts) = infinite; a welded/stuck relay = continuity (Abnormal). If relay shows continuity when it should be open, replace the Relay PCB (P/N: EBR31737804).
- 3
If relay is normal, measure thermistor resistance at pins 5 and 6 of CN6 on the Main PCB. Normal = approximately 1.09 kΩ at 25°C.
- 4
If thermistor is abnormal, replace the thermistor (oven sensor).
- 5
If thermistor is normal, replace the Main PCB (P/N: EBR32028304).
