Error Code F-1
Opened Sensor — oven thermistor (sensor) remains open for over 1 minute during cooking
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Disconnected or loose oven sensor connector; Broken oven temperature sensor wiring; Failed oven temperature sensor (thermistor); Loose CN6 connector on Main PCB
How to Fix
- 1
Enter diagnostic mode: press any button with mode knob in Off, then press '4' and '6' simultaneously for 1 second to read stored F-code from EEPROM
- 2
Unplug the unit
- 3
Check the oven sensor wiring connector at the oven back wall — reconnect if loose or disconnected
- 4
Check CN6 connector (pins 5 and 6) on Main PCB — reconnect if loose
- 5
Plug in unit, re-enter test mode: press '4' and '6' simultaneously, select 'tO', press START
- 6
Unplug unit, measure thermistor resistance at pins 5 and 6 of CN6 on Main PCB — normal is approximately 1.09 kΩ at 25°C (77°F)
- 7
If resistance is infinite (open), replace the oven temperature sensor
- 8
If sensor resistance is normal, replace Main PCB
- 9
If issue persists after Main PCB replacement, replace Relay/Power PCB
