Error Code F-6
Oven Hot — oven temperature exceeds 650°F continuously for 2 minutes during cooking (excludes self-clean)
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Relay on Relay/Power PCB stuck closed (heater circuit permanently on); Failed oven temperature sensor reading too low; Wiring fault causing relay to stay energized
How to Fix
- 1
Unplug the unit immediately
- 2
Check the DLB relay for damage — measure resistance: normal is infinite (open); abnormal is continuity (shorted closed)
- 3
If relay PCB relay is shorted closed, replace the Relay PCB
- 4
If relay is normal, check thermistor resistance at pins 5 and 6 of CN6 on Main PCB — normal is approximately 1.09 kΩ at 25°C
- 5
If thermistor resistance is abnormal, replace the oven thermistor (temperature sensor)
- 6
If thermistor is normal, replace Main PCB
