Error Code F-8
Shorted Probe Sensor — oven meat probe sensor short error
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Probe touching the oven side panel (metal-to-metal short); Incorrect wiring (white and black wires swapped); Failed probe sensor; Failed Main PCB
How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect power
- 2
Check if the probe is touching the oven side panel — if so, separate probe from side panel
- 3
Reconnect power and check DC input at Main PCB pins 1 and 2 of CN07 — should be 5V DC
- 4
If 5V DC is not present, check wiring — verify white and black wires are connected at proper locations
- 5
If wiring is incorrect, reconnect at proper locations; if harness is defective, replace it
- 6
If probe is not touching side panel and wiring is correct, replace the probe sensor
- 7
If problem persists, replace Main PCB
