Error Code F1
Sensor open — oven thermistor circuit is open
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Disconnected or loose oven sensor connector at oven back; Disconnected CN1 on Main PCB; Failed oven temperature sensor (thermistor)
How to Fix
- 1
Press CLEAR/OFF, then press Bake and Broil simultaneously for 1 second to read stored F-code
- 2
Unplug the unit
- 3
Check sensor connector at oven back wall — reconnect if loose
- 4
Check CN1 connector on Main PCB — reconnect if loose
- 5
With unit plugged in, enter test mode (CLEAR/OFF, then Bake+Broil x2), press +/- to 't03', press Start — normal thermistor value at room temp is 70F to 90F displayed
- 6
Unplug unit, measure thermistor resistance: normal is approximately 1.09 kΩ at 25°C (77°F)
- 7
If resistance is abnormal, replace oven temperature sensor
- 8
If resistance is normal, replace Main PCB; if issue persists after Main PCB replacement, replace Power PCB
