Error Code F1
Upper oven sensor open — oven thermistor is open circuit
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F1
How to Fix
- 1
Unplug the unit.
- 2
Check sensor connector for looseness or disconnection at CN60 pins 4 and 5 of Main PCB.
- 3
Measure thermistor resistance across sensor leads — normal is approximately 1.09 kΩ at 75°F (25°C).
- 4
If resistance is infinite (open), replace the upper oven temperature sensor.
- 5
If resistance is normal, enter test mode: press + and - simultaneously for 3 seconds, then press +,- simultaneously for 3 seconds, then press Start; select 't3' using + button and press START/Oven Light.
- 6
Verify thermistor reading in test mode is between 70°F and 90°F at room temperature.
- 7
If test mode value is abnormal even with correct resistance, replace the Main PCB.
- 8
Reconnect all wiring and test oven for normal operation.
