Error Code F7
Convection fan not working
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F7
How to Fix
- 1
Unplug the unit and allow the motor to cool completely.
- 2
Measure fan motor resistance: Fan High (Hi RPM) normal is approximately 24.8 Ω ±10%; Fan Low (Lo RPM) normal is approximately 30.1 Ω ±10%.
- 3
If resistance is infinite (open) or below 5 Ω (shorted), replace the convection fan motor.
- 4
If motor resistance is normal, measure fan motor relay resistance on Relay PCB CN53: 5th and 7th pin of CN53 for RY8 (high speed); 3rd and 7th pin of CN53 for RY9 (low speed). Normal is infinite; abnormal is shorted.
- 5
If relay is shorted, replace the Relay PCB.
- 6
If relays are normal, check all connectors and harnesses associated with the convection fan for looseness or disconnection.
- 7
If a disconnected harness is found, reconnect or replace it.
- 8
If all connections are good and fault persists, replace the Main PCB.
