Freezer Sensor Error
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
How to Fix
- 1
Check for loose or disconnected connector between Main PCB and sensor. If loose/disconnected, reconnect or repair the connector.
- 2
Measure sensor resistance at CON8, 22nd Pin to 21st Pin. If resistance is 0 Ω (sensor short), replace the sensor.
- 3
If resistance is open/infinite (OL), go to step 6.
- 4
Compare measured resistance to the temperature-resistance table. If resistance does not match expected value for current temperature, replace the sensor.
- 5
If resistance matches table, explain normal operation to customer.
- 6
Check sensor harness connection between sensor and PCB. If connection is normal, replace the refrigerator main PCB. If connection is faulty, reconnect or repair the connector.
