Communication Error (Display PCB to Sub/Icemaker PCB)

How to Fix

1. 1

   1. Check for loose connections at all connectors between Display PCB and Sub PCB.

   2. Measure voltage at CON102 3rd Pin to 5th Pin — should NOT be 0V or 5V. If OV or 5V, replace Display PCB.

   3. Measure voltage at CON102 3rd Pin to 9th Pin — should NOT be 0V or 5V. If OV or 5V, replace Sub PCB.

   4. Measure voltage at CON1 12th Pin to CON5 6th Pin — should NOT be 0V or 5V. If OV or 5V, replace Display PCB.

   5. Measure voltage at CON1 2nd Pin to CON5 6th Pin — should NOT be 0V or 5V. If OV or 5V, replace Sub PCB.

6. 6

   6. If all checks pass, explain to customer.
