Low Side Cycle Leakage — Detected by low side refrigerant leak, bad compressor, or long-time door open. Caused when temperature and compressor feedback signals are abnormal.

How to Fix

Step 1: Check if doors have been left open for extended periods. If so, close doors and allow system to recover.

Step 2: Check low pressure side (suction/evaporator) for leaks using electronic leak detector or soapy water while compressor is off.

Step 3: Check evaporator for uniform frost distribution. Uneven or missing frost suggests refrigerant loss.

Step 4: If refrigerant leak confirmed, recover all R600a refrigerant outdoors, repair leak, replace dryer, evacuate for minimum 30 minutes, and recharge with exactly 64g R600a (+/-1g).

Step 5: If compressor is suspect, check compressor resistance and IPM PCB output.

Step 6: Replace failed component as indicated.
