Error Code E CH
High Side Cycle Leakage — Detected by high side refrigerant leak, restriction, bad compressor, bad valve, etc. Caused when temperature and compressor feedback signals are abnormal.
Moderate

Also displayed as: E CH
How to Fix
- 1
Step 1: Check compressor operation. If compressor is running but not cooling, suspect refrigerant leak.
- 2
Step 2: Check high pressure side (discharge/condenser) for leaks using electronic leak detector or soapy water while compressor is running.
- 3
Step 3: Check condenser and hot-line pipe for warmth — if cold, suspect refrigerant loss or restriction.
- 4
Step 4: If refrigerant leak confirmed, recover all R600a refrigerant outdoors, repair leak, replace dryer, evacuate for minimum 30 minutes, and recharge with exactly 64g R600a (+/-1g).
- 5
Step 5: If no refrigerant leak found, check for capillary tube restriction or bad water/pilot valve.
- 6
Step 6: If compressor is suspect, check compressor resistance (Power: 5.6~9 ohm, Save: 9~14 ohm for FLD165NBMA/NCMA).
- 7
Step 7: If restriction or compressor is confirmed bad, replace the failed component.
