How to Fix

Step 1: Check if connector is disconnected or loose between Main PCB and sensor.

Step 2: If connector is loose or disconnected, reconnect or repair the connector and recheck operation.

Step 3: Check sensor resistance. If resistance is 0 ohm (sensor short), change the sensor.

Step 4: Check sensor resistance. If resistance is OFF/open (sensor open), replace the refrigerator control board.

Step 5: Check sensor resistance and verify it matches the temperature-vs-resistance table (CON4 17th~18th pin). If values match, no problem — explain to customer.

Step 6: If sensor resistance is abnormal after reconnect, replace the sensor.

Abnormal Ambient (Room) Temperature Sensor Error — Room temperature sensor short or open.
