Error Code E CO
Communication Error — communication failure between Main PCB MICOM and Display PCB MICOM
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: E CO
How to Fix
- 1
Step 1: Inspect all connectors for loose connections, especially at the door hinge harness pass-through.
- 2
Step 2: Measure voltage at CON101 pins 1–2. Expected: 12V. If not 12V, check hinge connection for loose wiring. If hinge is secure and voltage is still wrong, replace the Main PCB.
- 3
Step 3: Measure voltage at CON101 pins 2–3 (data line). Expected: 0V or 5V. If not oscillating between 0V and 5V, replace the Display PCB.
- 4
Step 4: Measure voltage at CON101 pins 2–4 (second data line). Expected: 0V or 5V. If not correct, replace the Main PCB.
- 5
Step 5: Measure voltage at CON5 pins 4–6. Expected: 0V or 5V. If not correct, replace the Display PCB.
- 6
Step 6: Measure voltage at CON5 pins 4–8. Expected: 0V or 5V. If not correct, replace the Main PCB.
- 7
Step 7: If all voltages are correct, explain to customer.
