Error Code E FS
Freezer Sensor Error — short or disconnection of Freezer Sensor
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: E FS
How to Fix
- 1
Step 1: Check whether the connector between Main PCB and freezer sensor is disconnected or loose. If yes, reconnect or repair the connector.
- 2
Step 2: Measure sensor resistance at CON7 pins 47–20. If resistance is 0Ω (short), replace the sensor.
- 3
Step 3: If resistance reads open/infinite (OL), replace the sensor.
- 4
Step 4: If resistance is normal for the current temperature per the table (see resistance_table), proceed to Step 5.
- 5
Step 5: Cross-reference measured resistance against the temperature/resistance table. If values correlate correctly, explain to customer that unit is operating normally.
- 6
Step 6: If resistance is out of range for measured temperature, replace the sensor.
