Refrigerator Sensor Error — short or disconnection of Refrigerator Sensor

How to Fix

1. 1

   Step 1: Check whether the connector between Main PCB and refrigerator sensor is disconnected or loose. If yes, reconnect or repair the connector.

2. 2

   Step 2: Measure sensor resistance at CON7 pins 15–18. If resistance is 0Ω (short), replace the sensor.

3. 3

   Step 3: If resistance reads open/infinite (OL), replace the sensor.

4. 4

   Step 4: If resistance is normal for current temperature, proceed to Step 5.

5. 5

   Step 5: Cross-reference measured resistance against the temperature/resistance table. If values correlate correctly, explain to customer that unit is operating normally.

6. 6

   Step 6: If values are out of range, replace the refrigerator (main PCB or sensor as appropriate).
