How to Fix

Step 1: Check whether connector between Main PCB, defrost controller, and defrost sensor is disconnected or loose. If yes, reconnect or repair the connector.

Step 2: Measure defrost sensor resistance at CON7 pins 19–22. If resistance is 0Ω (short) or infinite (open), replace the sensor.

Step 3: If resistance is normal, cross-reference against temperature/resistance table.

Step 4: If values are outside the table range, replace the Main PCB.
- 5
Step 5: If values correlate correctly, explain to customer that unit is operating normally.
