Error Code E CL
Low side cycle leakage — detected by low side refrigerant leak, bad compressor, or prolonged door open
Moderate

How to Fix
- 1
Step 1: Connect SVC App. Confirm error code is E CL.
- 2
Step 2: Using SVC App Step 1, measure pressures and recovery time. If equalization is normal (less than 15 min, above 20 psi), unit may be normal — check for customer error (prolonged door open).
- 3
Step 3: If equalization pressure is below 20 psi after normal recovery time, refrigerant is low due to leakage.
- 4
Step 4: Using nitrogen charge (SVC App Step 2), pressure-test the low-pressure side (evaporator, suction pipe) for leaks.
- 5
Step 5: If leak found on low-pressure side, replace leaking part plus compressor and drier (moisture contamination of low side is likely).
- 6
Step 6: If no leak on low-pressure side, inspect high-pressure side (condenser, drier).
- 7
Step 7: If high-pressure side leak found, replace leaking part and drier.
- 8
Step 8: If no leak found anywhere, replace drier and evacuate/recharge system.
- 9
Step 9: Error code clears automatically when freezer temperature reaches 14°F. Install UV drier if leak point cannot be located.
