Error Code LE
Locked Motor Error — motor stator or rotor fault, or motor harness disconnection.
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Motor drive connector (RD4) disconnected or disassembled at main PWB; Motor harness wiring broken (open circuit) between stator assembly and main PWB; Rotor magnet cracked; Stator winding resistance out of range (should be 5-15 Ω between any two phases U-V, V-W, W-U); IPM (Intelligent Power Module) in controller defective
How to Fix
- 1
Confirm LE ERROR is displayed.
- 2
Check motor drive connector (RD4) at main PWB assembly — is it disconnected or disassembled? If YES → reconnect the connector (connector/wire/motor).
- 3
If connector is OK → visually inspect if rotor magnet is cracked. If YES → replace the ROTOR.
- 4
If rotor is OK → pull out RD4 connector and measure resistance at the connector terminals in wire (Red 3P, male). Check U-V (pins 1-2), V-W (pins 2-3), W-U (pins 3-1). Expected: 5-15 Ω for all. If out of range → replace the STATOR.
- 5
If stator resistance is OK → check the IPM in the controller. If defective → replace the MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY.
