What This Means
Door not fully closed; Loose electrical connections at door switch and PWB assembly; Door switch assembly defective; Latch hook spring not adjusted properly
How to Fix

Confirm dE1 is displayed

Check connectors at door switch and main board for looseness or breakage. Reconnect or repair if so

Check if latch hook spring is adjusted properly. Replace Door Assembly if not

Press START/PAUSE and listen for one or two clicks indicating door lock actuation. If no click, replace PCB ASSEMBLY

If click is present, check if DOOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY is broken. Replace DOOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY if broken

Installation checklist: machine must operate with doors completely closed and locked; washing area water temperature must not exceed 45°C (113°F)
