What actually causes this:
The fan motor is wearing out or something is blocking it from spinning freely
First Thing to Check
If dishes are not drying well but the dishwasher otherwise works fine, the drying fan may need service

1. Check the wire connections for the fan motor — reconnect if loose

2. Check the resistance of the fan motor coil (remove connector before measuring) — Normal: approx. 150 ohms

3. Check if anything is obstructing the fan blades

4. If resistance is abnormal, replace the fan motor assembly
