What actually causes this:
The exhaust vent is partially blocked with lint, or the vent run is too long for proper airflow.
First Thing to Check
Check the exhaust vent hose behind the dryer for kinks or lint buildup.
How to Fix

2. Check again after the dryer has reached room temperature
