What actually causes this:
Door wasn't closed firmly, or the door switch has gone bad from normal wear.

Open and firmly close the door, then try starting it again.

1. Close the door and run the dryer again

2. Check if the door sensor unit is loose or short

3. Test door switch: Door open (Off) — COM-NC (pins 1-3) should be < 1 Ohm, COM-NO (pins 1-2) should be infinity

4. Test door switch: Door closed (On) — COM-NC (pins 1-3) should be infinity, COM-NO (pins 1-2) should be < 1 Ohm

5. If switch does not test correctly in both positions, replace door switch
