Error Code C-20
Temperature sensor open circuit or short detected during operation
Critical
Stop using immediately - risk of damage or safety issue
Also displayed as: C-20
What This Means
Oven sensor connector disconnected at Main PCB; Oven sensor connector disconnected at sensor; Open circuit in oven sensor wire harness; Short circuit in oven sensor wire harness; Defective oven temperature sensor; Main PCB failure
What actually causes this:
Broken or corroded sensor wire, loose connector, or defective thermistor
First Thing to Check
Disconnect power and measure oven sensor resistance
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check whether connector at the Main PCB has been inserted
- 2
Check whether connector at the sensor has been inserted
- 3
Measure sensor resistance at room temperature (should be 1080Ω)
- 4
Measure resistance of connector on Main PCB (CN320)
- 5
Check for damaged circuit board or soldered joints
