Error Code E-24
Temperature overheat condition
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: E-24
What This Means
Oven sensor malfunction; Defective broil heater; Defective bake heater; Defective convection heater; Main PCB DLB relay failure; Harness disconnection at heater relays; Short circuit in heater circuit
What actually causes this:
Oven temperature exceeds maximum safe operating temperature - typically caused by stuck relay, sensor failure, or uncontrolled heating element
First Thing to Check
Measure oven sensor resistance at room temperature - normal is approximately 1000 ohms
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect power and open back cover
- 2
Disconnect sensor harness from control
- 3
Measure sensor resistance at room temperature - should be approximately 1000 ohms
- 4
Check resistance of each heater (broil, bake, convection)
- 5
Check DLB, Broil, Bake and Convection heater relays on main PCB for normal operation
- 6
Check for disconnection of harness between main PCB and sub PCB
- 7
Measure oven sensor connector resistance on main PCB - normal is 1000 ohms
