Door lock is mispositioned

What This Means

Harness not connected with door lock switch and motor; Door lock motor resistance out of range; Incorrect voltage at door lock motor; Door locking switch not working normally; Circuit breaker tripped or power failure during door lock operation

How to Fix

  1. 1

    Disconnect power and check whether harness has been connected with door lock switch and motor

  2. 2

    Confirm whether resistance value of door lock motor is correct (normal: 1600-2200 ohms at room temperature)

  3. 3

    Operate door lock and measure voltage at plug supplying power to door lock motor (normal: AC 120V)

  4. 4

    Check whether door locking switch is working normally

  5. 5

    Check micro switch COM-NC (closed when door is unlocked)

  6. 6

    Check connector and harness connected to main PCB

  7. 7

    Check harness on connector CN201 on main PCB

  8. 8

    Measure resistance of CN201 on Main PCB (COM-NO: infinite at room temperature)

  9. 9

    Replace micro switch or lock motor if faulty

  10. 10

    Replace or repair damaged harness
