What This Means
Temperature reaches 650°F (343°C) in cooking function except Self Clean; Faulty oven temperature sensor; Stuck or failed broil or bake burner; Defective relay assembly
How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect electrical power to the range
- 2
Remove the upper rear cover panel
- 3
Disconnect the two harness connectors to the oven temperature sensor
- 4
Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance at room temperature - should be 1080 ohms
- 5
Check the broil and bake burners to ensure they are lighting and burning properly
- 6
Check whether the DLB, Broil, Bake, and Warming Drawer relay is working normally
- 7
