Error Code C-20
Oven temperature sensor open circuit (resistance over 2950 Ohm) or shorted circuit (resistance under 930 Ohm)
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
What This Means
Oven temperature sensor resistance out of range; Damaged sensor harness or connector; Damaged terminal on main PCB connector CN320
How to Fix
- 1
Disconnect power. Open the back cover. Disconnect sensor harness from control.
- 2
Measure sensor resistance: normal is 1080 ohms at room temperature.
- 3
If resistance is over 2950 ohms or under 930 ohms, replace the oven sensor.
- 4
If sensor resistance is OK, check the connecting condition of harness between oven sensor and CN320 of main PCB.
- 5
If harness connection is bad: reconnect or repair/replace damaged harness.
- 6
If harness connection is OK, measure resistance of connector CN300 of Main PCB (normal: 2850 ohms).
- 7
If CN300 resistance is abnormal: check PCB pattern and soldering related to oven sensor circuit. Repair or replace main PCB.
