Oven overheating – oven temperature rose too high

What This Means

Defective oven temperature sensor giving incorrect reading; Stuck-closed broil, bake, or convection heater relay on PCB; Damaged PCB relay or PCB pattern; Damaged wire harness connected to main PCB; DLB (Dual Line Break) relay failure

How to Fix

   Disconnect power to the range

2. 2

   Check DLB relay at TB201 pins 1,2 and 3,4; normal resistance is infinity (open)

3. 3

   Check Broil relay at TB206 pins 1,2 and 3,4; normal resistance is infinity (open)

4. 4

   Check Bake relay at TB205 pins 1,2 and TB206 pins 3,4; normal resistance is infinity (open)

5. 5

   Measure broil/bake heater resistance; expect 30 to 800 ohms

6. 6

   Verify CNS300 connector and harness to oven sensor are properly connected and undamaged

7. 7

   Measure oven sensor resistance; expect 1080 ohms at room temperature

8. 8

   If relays are faulty or PCB has cracked traces replace main PCB

9. 9

   If sensor or harness is faulty replace or repair
