Sensor housing slipped out; Wire cut or damaged; Wire short circuit; Sensor reading above 50°C or below -50°C

What actually causes this:

Ambient sensor wire came loose or sensor failed.

First Thing to Check

Look for loose or damaged wires near the door hinge area.

How to Fix

    Check voltage between HINGE CONNECTOR #2 and #3

  2. 2

    Expected voltage: 4.5V to 1.0V

  3. 3

    If outside range, sensor is faulty
