Sensor housing disconnected or slipped; Wire cut or damaged; Wire short circuit; Temperature reading out of normal range

What actually causes this:

Damaged temperature sensor wiring or sensor element failure

First Thing to Check

Check wiring harness at connector for loose or corroded pins

How to Fix

    Check voltage between Case Connector DC YEL1 #5 and #6

  2. 2

    Expected voltage should be within 4.5V to 1.0V

  3. 3

    Verify sensor housing is properly seated

  4. 4

    Check wire continuity from sensor to connector
