What This Means

Defective fan motor; Contact problem at MAIN PCB connector terminal CN76 pins 6, 9, 10; Contact problem at freezer fan motor connector; Defective motor wire; Feed back signal wire contact defect

What actually causes this:

The fan motor that circulates cold air in the freezer failed or the motor wire came loose

Listen for the freezer fan running when the compressor cycles on

How to Fix

    1. Run Forced Operation mode to verify compressor runs

  2. 2

    2. Check if DC 7-12V is present between MAIN PCB GND and CN76 #9

  3. 3

    3. Verify DC 7-12V between GND and CN76 #9, and lower than DC 2V between GND and CN76 #6

  4. 4

    4. If voltages are correct but fan does not run, replace fan motor

  5. 5

    5. If voltages are incorrect, replace MAIN PCB
