What This Means

Sensor housing separation; Connector contact error; Sensor disconnection or open; Short circuit in sensor wiring; Temperature sensing out of valid range (>149°F or <-58°F)

What actually causes this:

Sensor got wet or connector corroded

First Thing to Check

Check inside top hinge for water or corrosion

Ambient Sensor (502AT Thermistor) - mounted in right top table of upper hinge

How to Fix

    1. Check Main PCB Connector CN31 insertion

  2. 2

    2. Verify Ambient Sensor unit is normal

  3. 3

    3. Measure voltage between CN31-#1(White) and REG1, Heat Sink (should be 4.6V~0.6V)

  4. 4

    4. Check IC10 MICOM #59 input voltage

  5. 5

    5. Measure resistance CN31 #1 ´ #3 and compare with temperature table
