Check outlet is on correct 115V circuit — do not plug into 240V outlet by mistake

1. Measure AC voltage at electrical outlet where refrigerator is plugged in

2. Should read 115V ± 10% (103.5V to 126.5V normal)

3. If voltage is above 126V, check other loads on circuit

5. If voltage still high, contact electrician to check house wiring
