Ice room compartment temperature sensor is out of range or faulty
Moderate
Address soon - your appliance may not work properly
Also displayed as: F-1-6 / F-10-2 (LED blink pattern on panel)
What This Means
Connector at CN31/CN76 loose or disconnected; Sensor reading above 149°F (65°C) or below -58°F (-50°C); Sensor wire open or shorted; Failed sensor unit
What actually causes this:
Ice room sensor connector worked loose or sensor failed from continuous cold cycling.
First Thing to Check
Re-seat the orange wire connector at CN31 pin 3 on the main board.
Parts Involved
How to Fix
- 1
Check MAIN PCB connectors CN31 and CN76 are fully seated
- 2
Measure resistance between CN31 #3 (Orange) and CN76 #1 (Gray) — compare to DATA1 temperature table
- 3
Measure voltage at CN31 #3 (Orange) vs REG1 HEAT SINK ground — should be 0.6V to 4.6V
- 4
Check IC01 MICOM pin #71 input voltage
- 5
Check SENSOR MARKING #8 (R308) on PCB
